Avishta Seeras

Avishta Seeras is the creator and producer of the Lingua-Cultura Experience, an online advocacy platform that promotes language and cultural education, rights, access and preservation. Over the past 16 months, the platform has organized over a dozen global conferences, events and campaigns and built an international community of nearly 4,000 practitioners, activists, specialists and learners. Avishta grew up multilingual and has a passion for creole and indigenous languages. She has worked with several organisations including the UNESCO Secretariat for the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL 2022-2032), Polyglot Conference, the Global Coalition for Language Rights, Bolingo and One Vibe Africa.
