I'm a painter since I remember, and now currently I work at the Ministry of Art and Culture in Cholula, Puebla, besides of having my own art gallery. When I was a child, I lived with my family near the ancient ruins of a Tlaxcaltec fortress with pyramids in Xochitecatitla, Tlaxcala. Back then, we used to “make small archeology” as a family activity. And so, we found many great treasures which had me quite interested on this huge part of Mexican history. I've been professor of Nahuatl since 2018, a path that dove me to find the codex world. Ever since, I have studied as much as I can this field, and I always find the way to relate it with Nahuatl lessons. This leaded me to use less and less writing in the classes, and more and more painting codex even in the exams. With the current proposal, my intention is to share and give more formality to this process.
